Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith is known for being cautious to a fault, but in the wake of the team's resurgence, he's heading towards perfection.
According to Dave Skretta of the Associated Press, Smith has completed 228 straight passes and six passes away, while being on the verge of eclising the franchise record set by Steve DeBerg back in 1990.
"Listen, he's great at that," coach Andy Reid said.
"That's one of his real strengths, but again, it's play by play. You've just got to stay on top of it. One thing he's done throughout his career, he has always taken care of the football.
