Alex Smith, Eric Berry named 2015 Chiefs MVPs; Peters is top rookie

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs named quarterback Alex Smith and safety Eric Berry as their most valuable players for 2015. Cornerback Marcus Peters was chosen as their rookie of the year. Former fullback Tony Richardson is this year’s entrant to the Chiefs Hall of Fame.

Smith started all 16 regular-season games and both of the Chiefs' playoff contests last season. He threw for a career-high 3,486 yards with 20 touchdown passes and seven interceptions.
