The Kansas City Chiefs survived a serious scare after Tuesday's practice with injuries to both Dontari Poe and Derrick Johnson not being considered serious. Still they were held out from practice on Wednesday in a report from Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star.
In addition to Poe and DJ both sitting on the defensive side, wide receiver Albert Wilson was forced to exit practice due to a hamstring injury. Wilson holds great potential to be the Chiefs second wideout on the depth chart next season, and should compete with Chris Conley, De'Anthony Thomas, Jason Avant and others for playing time throughout the preseason.
