On Sunday, Adam Vinatieri kicked a game-winning field goal in overtime. His 27-yard chip shot eked out a much-needed victory for the Andrew Luck-less Colts, evening the team’s record at 2-2 and, somehow, keeping them atop the lowly AFC South.
That was only his second-best accomplishment of the afternoon. According to reports, Vinatieri became the first player in NFL history to score 1,000 points with two different teams.
