After a day off on Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs conducted their 12th 2024 training camp practice at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.
Sunday’s practice was a lighter 10-10-10 workout. In these sessions, the team rotates 10 plays focused on offense, 10 plays conentrated on defense and 10 minutes of special-teams work. Players are not dressed in full pads, but in “spiders and shells.”
A number of players were back to work. Wide receiver Justin Watson (foot), cornerback Nazeeh Johnson (hamstring), offensive tackle Wanya Morris (shoulder) and safety Deon Bush (ankle) practiced with the team — and cornerback Jaylen Watson set aside the yellow “no-contact” jersey he wore during Friday’s practice.
