3 Chiefs players unexpectedly miss Sunday’s workouts

On Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs conducted their seventh 2024 training camp practice at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph — the third one in full pads.

Wide receiver Hollywood Brown and running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire were absent. Defensive tackle Chris Jones was present, but was without pads or a helmet. We expect to learn about precise status of these players when head coach Andy Reid speaks to reporters after the session.

Two other injured players — cornerback Nazeeh Johnson (hamstring) and wide receiver Justin Watson (foot) — were also present without pads or helmets.
