Wednesday marked the second day of the Kansas City Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp, which will run through Thursday. Even though these practices are mandatory, there are three players that have not shown up to either day, per The Kansas City Star’s Sam McDowell (here is Wednesday’s roundup).
Chiefs just wrapped up second day of mandatory minicamp. Didn’t see Martinas Rankin, Kyle Long (knee) or Armani Watts. Deandre Baker and Malik Herring without a helmet. Austin Blythe didn’t participate in team drills.

Long has a good excuse: the knee injury he suffered last week will keep him off the practice field until training camp at the earliest.
