ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay has released his latest mock draft for the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft, and he has the Kansas City Chiefs picking at No. 28 overall. He also has them selecting cornerback Kristian Fulton out of Louisiana State University.
Fulton has been linked to the Chiefs before near the bottom of the first round in other drafts, so this is not exactly a new name or even position for Chiefs fans who have been watching draft buzz alongside the team’s current run at the postseason.
LSU’s secondary is a loaded unit, but Fulton found a way to shine among such talented peers like Grant Delpit (who won this year’s Jim Thorpe Award as the nation’s best defensive back).
