The Kansas City Chiefs checked off one of their pre-draft visits on Thursday with the news that Tim Ward, a defensive end out of Old Dominion, spent some time with the team at Arrowhead on Thursday.
Each NFL team is allowed 30 prospect visits to their home stadium for a private workout before the NFL Draft. Those visits can allow a team to answer any final questions they have about someone questionable or to scout lesser known prospects for later rounds or even rookie free agents.
Ward is the latest to come in, per Eric Edholm, a defensive end prospect out of Old Dominion who had 41 tackles and 3.
