The official order has been finalized for all seven rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft, and the Kansas City Chiefs look good with eight picks overall in six different rounds, including two apiece in the second and sixth rounds.
The Chiefs, like every team, enter each draft with one pick in each round, but various moves pulled off by general manager Brett Veach over the last year-plus have resulted in some changes to the overall draft order for 2019.
First, Veach traded away the team’s fourth-round pick to the Buffalo Bills in a bit of an experiment that brought over linebacker Reggie Ragland in the first of several steps taken to remake the position inside.
