On Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs conducted the second of mandatory minicamp sessions. Arrowhead Pride’s Pete Sweeney was among the reporters present for the session, which began around 11 a.m. Arrowhead Time.
Two Chiefs players — left guard Joe Thuney and defensive end BJ Thompson — were absent.
Thuney is dealing with the pectoral injury he suffered during the playoff game against the Buffalo Bills in January. Thompson was released from the hospital on Monday after having a cardiac emergency during a team meeting last week.
