Kansas City Chiefs rumors focus on training camp arriving for Kansas City. The NFL is requiring all 32 NFL teams to reduce their rosters to 80 players for training camp this year. The Chiefs currently have 86 players on their roster which means they need to release 6 more players.
Chiefs News was hot this weekend as Laurent Duvernay-Tardif decided to opt out of the 2020 NFL Season. Kansas City quickly responded by signing Kelechi Osemele to replace him. The Chiefs have since released Javaris Davis and Cody White. Kansas City is trying to reduce their roster before training camp and will continue to do so as the NFL is mandating all teams get down to 80-man rosters for NFL training camps. The Chiefs will make some tough decisions on players you likely haven’t heard of including guys like Andrew Soroh, Yasir Durant, Aleva Hifo and Justice Shelton-Mosley

Potential Chiefs roster cuts do include a couple of names you might know including Dorian O’Daniel and Elijah McGuire. O’Daniel has been a disappointment since being a 3rd round draft pick in 2018. McGuire has some upside as a receiving back but is simply buried on the Chiefs’ RB Depth Chart. McGuire and O’Daniel join Soroh, Durant, Hifo and Shelton-Mosley as players who could get cut prior to the start of training camp for the Kansas City Chiefs.
