Mel Kiper has released his 2020 NFL Draft grades for all 32 NFL teams including the Kansas City Chiefs. He gave the Chiefs a C+ grade for this year’s draft class. Kiper liked the Chiefs picks in Rounds 1-3 with Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Willie Gay Jr. & Lucas Niang. Do you agree with Kiper handing the Chiefs a C+ grade for their NFL Draft? The Kansas City Chiefs did not draft a CB until Round 7 of the NFL Draft when they traded up for Thakarius Keyes out of Tulane. Kansas City did draft L’Jarius Sneed out of Louisiana Tech in Round 4, but he played primarily safety in college. The Chiefs also selected Michigan EDGE Mike Danna in Round 5.
Cornerback was a big need for the Chiefs coming into the draft and it’s an even bigger one now that Bashaud Breeland has been arrested. The Chiefs were already expecting Breeland to be suspended for 4 games for violating the NFL Substance Abuse policy, but now he could miss more time.
