Kansas City Chiefs Rumors are swirling around a potential Darius Slay trade. The Lions are reportedly taking calls for the all-pro CB as he enters the final year of his current contract. Slay is set to make just over $12 million next season and wants a new contract. Should the Chiefs target Slay in a trade? Chiefs Report host Harrison Graham says the Chiefs should not pursue trading for Darius Slay. The Kansas City Chiefs only have $13.7 million in projected cap space and have to focus on Chris Jones who’s a free agent. Kansas City also proved that players like Kendall Fuller and Bashaud Breeland are good enough to get the job done. The Chiefs can re-sign both of those players for less than what a new Darius Slay contract would cost.
