The 2019 NFL Draft is in the books & the Kansas City Chiefs added six players in the NFL Draft. IN THE VIDEO ABOVE: NFL daily host Harrison Graham breaks down each of the Chiefs draft picks and gives you his final draft grade for the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs were hit with the Tyreek Hill audio release from KCTV5 in Kansas City right before the 1st round of 2019 NFL Draft on Thursday night, and addressed that need by trading up from pick #61 to #56 to select speedy WR Mecole Hardman. Kansas City filled another need at safety by selecting Juan Thornhill later in Round 2.

The Chiefs also bolstered its defensive line by taking DT Khalen Saunders in Round 3. Kansas City didn’t address one of its biggest needs at CB until Round 6, its next draft pick, by taking Rashad Fenton. Kansas City added a rotation RB in Darwin Thompson later in Round 6 before finishing their draft with Nick Allegretti and interior OL in Round 7. The Chiefs have signed several undrafted free agents since the draft has ended including QB Kyle Shurmur, LB Gary Johnson, CB Mark Fields, WR Cody Thompson & RB James Williams.
