Travis Kelce has signed a huge contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs! The 30 year-old TE, entering his 8th season in the NFL - all with the Chiefs, agreed to a 4-year, $57.25 million deal. Ths extension will pay him over $14 million per year with $28 million in guarantees. Earlier today, San Francisco 49ers and star tight end George Kittle's agreed-upon five-year, $75 million extension. Kelce’s deal is not as big as Kittle’s, but it means he will be locked up with the Chiefs for the foreseeable future as the 2nd highest paid TE.

Kelce is the first TE to have more than 1,000 receiving yards in four straight seasons, and can extend that record to five straight seasons in 2020. Last season, he led all tight ends with 97 receptions and 1,229 receiving yards while adding five touchdowns.
