The KC Chiefs join a host of NFL teams today looking to freshen up their rosters with undrafted free agents -- while releasing a couple others to make room for the new additions.
Per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, "the Chiefs signed Georgia State wide receiver Albert Wilson, Tennessee-Martin linebacker Ben Johnson, BYU safety Daniel Sorensen, Louisiana-Lafayette wide receiver Darryl Surgent, Tennessee State cornerback David Van Dyke and Abilene Christian running back Charcandrick West."
In corresponding moves, the KC Chiefs released wide receiver Rashad Ross and fullback Eric Kettani. Kettani, a Naval Academy graduate, is currently a lieutenant in the Naval reserve. Ross landed on the Chiefs' practice squad in November after previously spending time with the Tennessee Titans. Neither player saw a regular season snap with the KC Chiefs.
The Chiefs now have 84 players on their roster, with more signings and releases expected in the next several days.
