Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star recently listed seven free agent options that would be good fits for the Kansas City Chiefs when the free agency period opens on March 10th, with the most splashy and notable name being that of Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin.
However, while Paylor points out that "Chiefs coach Andy Reid was Philadelphia’s coach when the Eagles selected him in the first round," he also deflates the balloon by adding that "Maclin has said he wants to return to Philly and Philly has said it wants him back."

Things could always change, especially with Maclin's checkered injury history looming as a potential fork in negotiations between the dynamic wideout and the Eagles. If so, the Chiefs could very well look past the torn ACL that cost Maclin his 2013 season and do some creative financing to place themselves in the free-agent conversation.
The 26-year-old former Missouri Tiger put up superstar production in his return from injury in 2014, posting 85 catches for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns.
