Free agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin intends to leave the Philadelphia Eagles and join the Kansas City Chiefs, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
Maclin played his college ball for the Missouri Tigers, and the Chiefs will reunite him with head coach Andy Reid, who coached Maclin in Philly during his first four years in the league.
Kansas City desperately needed an upgrade at the receiver position, as no wideout caught a touchdown pass for the Chiefs last season. Maclin caught 85 passes for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Eagles in 2014.
This is a big blow to the Eagles, who were hoping to have their top receiver back after trading star running back LeSean McCoy to the Buffalo Bills.
