One of the most discussed players this offseason for the Jacksonville Jaguars – for good reason – has been veteran guard Zane Beadles. One year after signing a deal that made him the prized acquisition of their 2014 free agent haul, the Jaguars haven’t shown much confidence in Beadles moving forward. After publicly discussing his up-and-down year, the Jaguars went ahead and drafted another guard in A.J. Cann in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
While Beadles has the inside track on the starting left guard spot, the fact that his job security is even being discussed is noteworthy enough given how much money he makes.
