Rashad Greene, the former Jacksonville Jaguars player was re-signed by the team on Monday when the team announced that left tackle Cam Robinson will be out for the season with a torn ACL. Greene, who starred at FSU, was released when running back Brandon Wilds was promoted from the practice squad.
Greene was a fifth-round draft pick of the Jaguars in 2015 and has been used primarily as a punt returner. He has had injury issues throughout his career and missed all of 2017 on the injured reserve list.
The 25-year-old Greene had a good training camp but was also part of a wide receiver group that may be the deepest and fastest in the team’s history.
