The 2019 NFL Draft is just a few days away and the consensus pick for the Jacksonville Jaguars seems to be Florida offensive lineman Jawaan Taylor. As it stands right now, I am leaning towards the pick being Iowa tight end T.J. Hockenson, but the consensus of Taylor being the pick did make me ask a relevant question.
Why aren’t we talking about Alabama offensive tackle Jonah Williams?
Right tackle is obviously a need for the Jaguars, even with the amount of bodies they have who can play the position currently, so it makes sense a lot of draft analysts would slot in Taylor for the pick.
