JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Being a quarterback in the NFL is tough. There are only 32 starting jobs and not many more backup spots. For Jake Waters, his first offseason will go a long way in determining whether or not he will be able to stick around in one of those jobs.
Waters was responsible for 55 touchdowns (both passing and rushing) during his two seasons at Kansas State. Still, the former Wildcats quarterback is at the bottom of the depth chart in Jacksonville.
The Jaguars signed Waters as a priority undrafted free agent earlier this month and his role will be to compete with second-year passer Stephen Morris for the No.
