The Jacksonville Jaguars announced immediately following the 20-3 loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon that the trio of head coach Doug Marrone, general manager Dave Caldwell and VP of football operations Tom Coughlin would be returning to the team in 2019. Two of those three are not surprising, however there is a bit of more light being shed now than there was previously.
We now know without a doubt that everything is Tom Coughlin’s decision. He is fully in charge.
While some people are going to say “Duh?” to that statement, there was still some ambiguity in the air regarding who made what decisions.
