JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — An impressive scoring splash in the third quarter of Sunday's game was the catalyst for a Jacksonville Jaguars (5-8) 51-16 win over the Indianapolis Colts (6-7) at EverBank Field.
While the Jaguars offense was pitiful in the first half, a competent showing by the team's defense kept them alive. A defensive score to end the second quarter helped the team take momentum into halftime and that feeling stuck around for the third quarter.
The second half was kind to the Jaguars, as they scored 21 points in the third quarter. Electric plays by wide receivers, Allen Hurns and Rashad Greene, enabled the Jaguars to take the lead and stun the visiting Colts.
