The Jacksonville Jaguars made it official on Monday. Quarterback Nick Foles has been placed on Injured Reserve. The team made the announcement after it was announced the team traded a 2020 fifth-round draft pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers for quarterback Josh Dobbs to serve as the backup to Gardner Minshew.
Minshew came into the game yesterday against Kansas City in relief of Foles, who was knocked out of the game after only 10 plays in the first quarter with a broken left clavicle. It was a huge blow to this offense after Foles, who signed a free-agent deal with the Jaguars for four years and $88 million, had come into town and given this football community hope once again.
