The injury factor plays a significant role as well. The team’s expensive free agent, Nick Foles, was injured immediately and never really recovered, losing 10 weeks of the season. Late-round draft choice, Gardner Minshew, played better than expected and won the hearts of the fan base and the local and national media. Joshua Dobbs, Jacksonville’s third-string quarterback, is an unknown quantity at this point.
