Telvin Smith says NFL missed holding penalty on fourth quarter drive

With the Tennessee Titans driving late, the Jacksonville Jaguars needed a stop to get the offense back the ball. Forcing a third-and-1 it was nearly there, but Marcus Mariota ran for 15 yards up to midfield and the game was seemingly over at that point.

But closer inspection of the play shows a pretty blatant hold by left tackle Taylor Lewan on linebacker Telvin Smith who was in position to make the play.

According to Daniel Popper of The Athletic, Smith said that according to the NFL, there should have been a holding call against Lewan on this play.
