JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The recent allegations made toward Florida State football players has left a bad taste in the mouth of alumni.
Current Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Telvin Smith is one of those former Florida State students and players that is impacted by the tarnished reputation created by two violent incidents that allegedly took place in June.
Running back Dalvin Cook has been accused of punching a woman in the face, just one day before surveillance footage captured Jacksonville native and freshman quarterback De'Andre Johnson punching a woman in the face at a Tallahassee bar.
Smith believes this issue has prolonged the negative press that has faced FSU since he was on campus.
