The biggest news of the day during Jaguars practice on Monday was the return of tight end Geoff Swaim from injury. The free-agent signee has had a good offseason here in Jacksonville after coming over from Dallas in free agency.
Swaim figures to be team’s starter at the position and potentially one of two tight ends who will lineup on offense as new coordinator John DeFilippo likes to use multiple sets to aid the running game. There is a question of depth at the position as well, with rookie Josh Oliver still on the mend from a hamstring injury.
