Ahead of the opening of free agency at 4 p.m., the Jaguars have worked out the terms of a four-year contract with Carolina Panthers punter Brad Nortman.
Nortman is the third free agent the Jaguars will sign so far, joining Denver defensive lineman Malik Jackson and New York Jets running back Chris Ivory.
A league source confirmed Nortman’s deal, but dollar figures weren’t available.
Nortman’s arrival means the Jaguars are moving on from Bryan Anger.
Anger was a third-round pick in 2012 and Nortman was a sixth-round pick.
Nortman, 26, has 288 punts and a 45.
