Source: Jaguars interview Cowboys assistant for defensive coordinator post

The Jaguars’ search for a defensive coordinator continued Tuesday with a third NFL secondary coach visiting town.

Dallas defensive backs coach Jerome Henderson was at EverBank Field, a source confirmed, to meet with coach Gus Bradley.

Also at the team’s headquarters was Monte Kiffin, a longtime Bradley mentor who also worked with Henderson for two years (2013-14) in Dallas.

Kiffin, the source said, isn’t a candidate for the coordinator opening but has been “involved” in the process to find a replacement for Bob Babich, who was fired Jan. 5.

Kiffin spent time with the Jaguars during last year’s offseason program and talked with Bradley often over the phone during the season.
