MOBILE, ALA. | Baylor defensive end Shawn Oakman will be one of the more compelling prospects in this draft cycle.
Tuesday showed why.
Oakman dazzled at the weigh-in in the morning, measuring over 6-feet-7 and weighing 269 pounds. He has 35.8-inch arms and a sculpted frame.
“I was a pound under what I expected,” Oakman said. “I told everyone I’d be 270 and I’m 269, but that’s just water.”
Asked what he wanted to put on tape this week in Mobile, Oakman didn’t hesitate.
“Dominance,” Oakman said. “Show my dominance all over the field.
