Less than 24 hours after the Jaguars traded him to the Pittsburgh Steelers, placekicker Josh Scobee told the Times-Union on Monday that he leaves Jacksonville with great memories about how the organization and fans treated him, harboring no bitterness toward being pushed out for rookie kicker Jason Myers.
"There’s no feelings of being hurt on my part because I understand it’s a business," Scobee said. "People get older and things get more expensive. Businesses tend to find things cheaper and younger. That’s just how it works. There’s no guarantees with anything.
