As the clock continues to tick towards the start of the NFL draft at 8 p.m. Thursday night, it’s no surprise that rumors are continuing to fly about possible trades at the top of the draft.
It’s hard to sort out fact from fiction because reports often contradict each other. For example, a Cleveland ESPN reporter said the Browns have offered their two first round picks to the Titans for the second pick to draft Marcus Mariota. An ESPN reporter in Tennessee said they haven’t made that offer.
Another ESPN reporter said Titans general manager Ruston Webster told him he’s talking with three or four teams about the pick and some talks are “fairly substantial.
