The Jaguars continued what has become a busy Saturday morning/afternoon today, as they have agreed to terms with free agent linebacker Jake Ryan, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
A former fourth-round pick of the Green Bay Packers, Ryan appeared in 47 games with Green Bay, including 27 starts at the inside linebacker position, registering 206 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and 1 sack in three seasons.
Ryan missed all of the 2018 season following a torn ACL injury sustained in training camp last July.
He brings a potential significant upgrade to the depth at linebacker which was sorely needed, and if healthy, can be a solid player particularly against the run.
