Report: Jaguars to extend London deal through 2030

Jaguars owner Shad Khan and president Mark Lamping have always voiced their hope in extending the team’s lucrative deal to play one home game at London’s Wembley Stadium every season.

The current four-year deal expires after next season. A report published Friday in London by The Times’ Alyson Rudd says the Jaguars will extend the deal through the 2030 season.

Khan’s spokesman Jim Woodcock released the following statement through the team Friday morning.

“There is no agreement, but discussions have been frequent and promising,” Woodcock said. “Shad and the Jaguars have been clear that the London agreement has been extremely successful and essential to the local revenue streams and long-term viability of the franchise in Jacksonville, and that an extension of the current agreement would be welcomed.
