According to a report from NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, the Jaguars are signing former Seattle Seahawks running back Carlos Hyde. The deal is for two years and worth $6M, according to Rapoport.
This isn’t the first time Hyde will join the Jaguars. In 2018, the team sent a fifth-round pick to the Cleveland Browns for the running back. Hyde would go on to play just eight games for the team and tallied 58 rushes for 189 yards. His stint with the team was short-lived and largely unproductive, however, there were plenty of mitigating factors to account for it, including a lack of playing time.
