According to a report from ESPN’s Field Yates, former Jaguars running back/offensive weapon, Denard Robinson, will be joining the team’s coaching staff as an offensive quality control coach.
Robinson, 29, last played for the Jaguars in 2016 and was drafted by the team in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Robinson played running back, rushing for 1,058 yards on 268 carries, while adding five touchdowns on the ground.
Last week, the former Michigan Wolverine quarterback was seen at the team’s peaceful Black Lives Matter protest, marching along with several of the team’s coaches, including head coach Doug Marrone and running backs coach Terry Robiskie.
