Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Rashaan Melvin has opted out for the 2020 NFL season, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Melvin signed earlier this offseason with a 1-year, $2.25 million contract.
Melvin, 30, entered the league in 2013 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Illinois. He’s played for seven different teams including the Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Las Vegas Raiders, and most recently, the Detroit Lions.
