The Jacksonville Jaguars still have a glimmer of hope for the playoffs, but that scenario seems improbable following their 23-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Jacksonville and Atlanta battled in a tightly contested game that was tied heading into the fourth quarter. Unfortunately for the Jaguars, the Falcons scored six unanswered points down the stretch. While the Jaguars defense only allowed those six points in the second half, they had limited answers when the Falcons attempted to run out the clock.
On top of the defense's inability to get the off the field, the Jaguars offense was terrible on third down throughout the game.
