They were worn in victory and panned by football-fashion experts everywhere. Now a Bold Rush gold Jaguars jersey can be yours just in time for Christmas.
Proving again that everything NFL is for sale, the Jacksonville Jaguars are auctioning 44 of the mustard-yellow wonders that survived the Jags’ Nov. 19 win over the Tennessee Titans. While the color was controversial, sports memorabilia dealers say the signed jerseys may be worth a look. And judging by the bids on jaguars.com, plenty of good shirts are still available.
“Just in time for the holidays, this is a great chance to gift a loved one a truly unique piece of Jaguars history,” said Peter Racine, president of the Jaguars Foundation, the beneficiary of the auction that ends Sunday night.
