According to Pro Football Focus, the Jacksonville Jaguars have one of the NFL’s worst defensive lines. You have read that correctly.
Every offseason, PFF compiles subjective rankings of the league’s position groups. Understandably, the Jags rank low at offensive line and corner, but PFF has Duval’s defensive line as the 26th-best unit. Out of 32 teams, PFF thinks the Jags are only better served along the defensive front than six of them.
The reasoning isn’t great, as expected.
Jacksonville brought back Josh Allen, by far the team’s best defensive lineman, this offseason.
