The San Francisco 49ers landed an experienced left guard who could fit right in and replace departed Alex Boone.
San Francisco signed Zane Beadles to a three-year contract Tuesday after he was released March 3 by the Jaguars in a move to create salary cap space.
Beadles is a durable offensive lineman who has started all 16 games in each of the past five seasons — the last two with Jacksonville after he spent his first four seasons with Denver and started all but two games his rookie year.
The 29-year-old Beadles will help fill a void after Boone's departure to the Vikings in free agency.
