The NFL and the Jaguars reacted to a video released by TMZ on Tuesday that shows Jaguars defensive end Dante Fowler watching two women fight.
The 29-second clip does not have audio. At no point in the video does Fowler assert himself physically into the confrontation. TMZ identifies the women only as the mother of his child and another woman “believed to be his girlfriend.”
The NFL released the following statement: “These are disturbing images and we will review the matter.”
The incident reportedly occurred on Feb. 1 at a Florida apartment building and takes place in a hallway outside of an elevator.
