The Jacksonville Jaguars have a new offensive weapon to pair with likely No. 1 overall pick, quarterback Trevor Lawrence. According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. has agreed to terms with the Jaguars and will be heading to Duval to reunite with offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. The contract details are not yet known.
Jones played for the Detroit Lions for the past five seasons, including working with Bevell in 2019 and 2020. Bevell served as offensive coordinator for the Lions in each of the past seasons, and was named as Detroit’s interim head coach in November 2020.
