GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida Gators running back Kelvin Taylor isn't done following in his father's footsteps.
Gators head coach Jim McElwain told reporters on Monday that Taylor intends to declare for the upcoming NFL Draft, according to Associated Press reporter Mark Long.
Taylor has collected 985 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns in 13 games this season. In three years at Florida, Taylor has produced 2,058 rushing yards and 23 rushing touchdowns.
Kelvin, the son of former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor, is 5-foot-10 and weighs 205 pounds.
