We all knew the Jacksonville Jaguars were going to do some roster math this offseason to open up cap room, be it by cuts or restructures. The Jaguars got a start on that Wednesday morning when they agreed to restructure the contract of veteran defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, according to Field Yates of ESPN.

Dareus was someone mentioned as a player who could potentially be on the cap chopping block this offseason, however it was also likely that he would agree to re-do his deal and bring his number down, rather than hit the open market in an offseason where the NFL Draft is loaded with defensive line talent.
