JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The road to a roster spot on the Jacksonville Jaguars has never been easy for second-year lineman Josh Wells.
He started his career battling for a spot with a highly-paid veteran and an early draft pick being added to the roster in the same off-season. This summer, he's probably feeling some déjà vu.
The team signed Cowboys right tackle Jermey Parnell to a big contract and made him an immediate starter, much like with left guard Zane Beadles last off-season. The Jaguars also drafted guard A.J. Cann in the third round, much like they did with right guard Brandon Linder just one year ago.
