Josh Scobee plans to retire as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, at the age of 34. Scobee was originally drafted by the Jaguars in the fifth round of the 2004 NFL Draft, after playing college football for Louisiana Tech. He played 11 years (2004-2015) with the Jags before being traded for to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2015 for a sixth-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft. The Jaguars were the winner of this trade as Scobee was unsuccessful with the Steelers only making six of ten field goals and was later cut in favor of current Steelers’ kicker Chris Boswell.
